Paulo Hader

I am an environmental engineer by training, and passionate about geosciences. This motivation led me to develop a research project focusing on landslide risk assessment using AI, culminating in my MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering at São Paulo State University, Brazil, in 2021. Currently, I am a PhD Researcher at the University of Granada, Spain, where I work on early warning systems, natural hazards, climate change, and AI. Additionally, I strongly advocate for scientific communication across diverse audiences, believing it can greatly benefit society in our geologically active world. For this reason in 2020, I joined the EGU early career scientists team of the natural hazards division, and since I have collaborated in various initiatives. Moreover, in the past 3 years I have spent time developing myself as a data scientist/analyst in the tech sector.
