Judith Kirschner

Judith is a PhD candidate at European University Cyprus and associated with the PyroLife ITN project, a global research and training network on integrated wildfire management funded by the European Commission. Judith’s research foregrounds governance questions to better understand decisions around wildfire risk across different organisational levels and socio-ecological contexts. Judith uses concepts from the broader field of natural resources scholarship in her work, aiming to find equitable ways of governing wildfires in line with defined management goals, diverse cultural backgrounds, and limited resources.
