Madeleine Kerr is a PhD candidate at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego. Her research explores lithospheric subduction and the formation of mantle plumes on Venus. She is also passionate about performance and other ephemeral arts and enjoys engaging the public in scientific research through creative expression.
