Maura Hahnenberger

Maura Hahnenberger, PhD (she/her) is an Associate Professor of Geosciences at Salt Lake Community College in Utah, USA. Her research focuses on dust storms in the western USA including their impact on air quality and water supply. She is the founder of the WaterGirls and DustKids outreach programs for middle school students and serves on the Associate Board of Directors for the Earth Science Women’s Network (ESWN). Outside of work she loves exploring the outdoors with her husband and 3 year old.
