Agata is the Blog Editor-in-Chief for the EGU GMPV division. She obtained her PhD in Volcanology and Rock Physics at the University of Strasbourg. She is currently working on the ERC RottNRock project, where main focus is hydrothermal alteration at volcanoes. Her current research focuses on physical properties of volcanic rocks and the explosive-effusive transition. She is an avid supporter of building ECS platforms, believing that open and honest discussion is key to improving scientific spaces for everyone.
