Welcome to the blog of the Climate: Past, Present and Future (CL) Division of the European Geosciences Union (EGU). The CL division covers all aspects of the ocean-climate-atmospheric systems, encompassing multiple, overlapping and complementary disciplines. We focus on the reconstruction of past climatic changes, the state of the current climate, and model predictions of future climate scenarios.

Through this blog, we aim to share a wide range of topics in climate science, not only with fellow scientists, but also with anyone interested in learning more about the climate system and its changes. This blog is run with great enthusiasm by our Editors-in-Chief. Everybody is warmly invited to contribute to the blog and submit posts to either Bianca Biess, Ceren Moral, or Valeria Mascolo.
