Climate: Past, Present & Future

I work as a PhD student at the Department of Earth Sciences, Uppsala University, Sweden. I am very curious about how climate drives landscape development on various time scales, and how landforms and sedimentary deposits can be used to both reconstruct climates of the past and to understand how landscapes have evolved and may change in the future.

Welcome to the blog of the Climate: Past, Present and Future (CL) Division of the European Geosciences Union (EGU). The CL division covers all aspects of the ocean-climate-atmospheric systems, encompassing multiple, overlapping and complementary disciplines. We focus on the reconstruction of past climatic changes, the state of the current climate, and model predictions of future climate scenarios.

Through this blog, we aim to share a wide range of topics in climate science, not only with fellow scientists, but also with anyone interested in learning more about the climate system and its changes.
