Welcome to the official blog for the European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2010.

The blog will bring together articles that are in the daily newsletter, highlight media coverage of EGU2010 (traditional, new and social) and occasional voxpops. If you would like to contribute to this official blog please contact Jennifer Holden with your idea.

This year a blogroll is being put together of blogs who are discussing issues related to the EGU General Assembly 2010. These are not EGU sanctioned blogs, rather a resource helping attendees know what is out there. If you are a blogger please submit your blog details to us.

We look forward to meeting you at the General Assembly in Vienna on 2-7 May 2010.

Bárbara Ferreira was the Media and Communications Manager of the European Geosciences Union from 2011 to 2019. Bárbara has also worked as a science writer specialising in astrophysics and space sciences, producing articles for the European Space Agency and others on a freelance basis. She has a PhD in astrophysics from the University of Cambridge.
