PIYAL HALDER

Dr. Piyal Halder is the ECS Representative of the GMPV division, EGU, for 2025-2027, and a Blog Editor & LinkedIn Manager (Since 2022). He is presently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun, India (an autonomous Research Institute under the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India). He has completed his PhD in Geochemistry and Tectonics from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (An Institute of National Importance, Govt, of India) & Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (DST., Govt. of India). He also served as a Project Scientist in the Scientific Deep Drilling Program at the Koyna Intraplate Seismic Zone, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India.
