Jyri Näränen

Jyri is a research manager at the Finnish Geospatial Research Institute, National Land Survey of Finland. His current research interest lies in terrestrial gravity measurements and their use in, e.g., study of glacial isostatic adjustment. He is also the station manager of the Metsähovi Geodetic Research Station in Finland and works on the development of the 3rd generation SLR system in Metsähovi. He obtained his PhD in planetary sciences in 2009 from University of Helsinki and tweets as @Dr_Jyri.
