Jamie Farquharson & Francesca Pianosi

Jamie Farquharson (https://jifarquharson.github.io/) is a research engineer and journal manager at the Université de Strasbourg (France). His research themes include fluid flow and deformation in volcanic systems, interactions between climate and volcanism, and silicic eruption dynamics. Currently Jamie is working on innovative solutions for open access publishing in the geosciences, funded by the French National Fund for Open Science. Francesca Pianosi (https://research-information.bris.ac.uk/en/persons/francesca-pianosi) is a Senior Lecturer in Water and Environmental Engineering at the University of Bristol and an EPSRC Fellow. Her research aims at improving the way we use data analysis and mathematical modelling for hydrology and water engineering applications.
