Jacqueline Behncke is an ocean biogeochemist based at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology in Hamburg, Germany. She investigates the ocean carbon sink by combining observation and machine learning. During her PhD, she quantifies the impact of pCO2 observations from sailboats on air-sea CO2 flux estimates.
