Mary Anning Conference Series

On the conference series

EGU’s Mary Anning Conferences are held every two years and promote novel and innovative research related to biogeochemical cycles in the Earth system. The conferences bring together experienced and early career scientists for an interdisciplinary discussion on all aspects of chemical, physical, and biological processes and their interactions in the atmosphere, cryosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and biosphere.

The Mary Anning conference was a great way of helping to build community, especially amongst early career scientists. I’d encourage anyone thinking of running a meeting with a specific focus to consider applying for this funding. (Tristan Quaife, former organizer)

The Call for Proposals for the Mary Anning conference 2027 is open until May 15 and you can find information on how to apply here.
