Iris Schneider Pérez

Iris Schneider Pérez is a PhD candidate at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB, Spain). Her work focuses on the communication of natural hazards, with particular attention to uncertainty in multi-hazard and multi-risk contexts. She holds a double degree in Geology and Environmental Sciences from UAB and a Master’s in Scientific Communication from the University of Barcelona (UB). Alongside her PhD, she is actively involved in outreach through the website and social media of her research group, the Natural Risks Assessment and Management Service (NRAMS; nrams.csic.es).
