Stephen Lokier

Stephen is an educator and researcher in the fields of sedimentology and stratigraphy. His current research activities encompass a broad spectrum of Recent and ancient carbonate, mixed carbonate-evaporite and mixed carbonate-siliciclastic systems. In addition to his research activities, Stephen actively works to promote and support the sedimentology community both through his role as the General Secretary of the International Association of Sedimentologists (IAS) and through the @Seds_Online imitative, of which he is a founder. Stephen is an Associate Editor for the journal Sedimentology and the Subject Editor for Carbonates of the Journal of the Geological Society of London.
