Colin Summerhayes

Dr. Colin P. Summerhayes is a marine geochemist and oceanographer carrying out research on global climate change. An Emeritus Associate at the Scott Polar Research Institute of Cambridge University, his recent publications include “Oceanography: an Illustrated Guide”, “Antarctic Climate Change and the Environment”, “Earth’s Climate Evolution”, and a textbook on "Paleoclimatology". Colin is a past President of the international Society for Underwater Technology, and a past Vice President of the Geological Society of London. He is a member of the Anthropocene Working Group.
