David Vieites

David Vieites (Vigo, 1975; vieites@gmail.com) is an integrative biologist working at the interface between systematics, evolution, biogeography and genomics. He did his doctorate at the University of Vigo in Spain, followed by postdoctoral periods at the University of Amsterdam and the University of California at Berkeley. Since 2008 is a Senior Research Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council. He has published more than 120 papers, including several in Nature, Science, PNAS or PLoS Biology, and participated in more than 30 research projects.
