Final guide to get ready for EGU25 with the Climate Division!
Dear climate community,

With the EGU General Assembly 2025 approaching (27 April โ€“ 2 May), it is time to start preparing your programme and planning your week. Weโ€™re looking forward to another exciting and engaging General Assembly โ€” a unique opportunity for geoscientists across career stages to present their research, exchange ideas, and expand their network. As usual, the Austria Center Vienna will be hosting more than 19,000 presentations (orals, posters, and PICOs). Whether you are a long-time attendee or joining for the first time, the Climate Division (CL) offers a wide range of inspiring sessions and networking events. Whether you are curious about what is going on in the CL division or looking to connect with colleagues, we would like to make you aware of and invite you to some CL-related events that you may want to attend and include in your program.

I am an oceanographer and the ECS Representative of the EGU Climate Division. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in climate sciences at the Climate, Atmosphere and Ocean Laboratory (Climatoc-Lab) of the Desertification Research Centre (CIDE, CSIC-UV-GVA) in Valencia. My thesis is devoted to deepening the understanding of the historical changes of sea breezes from regional (Mediterranean basin) to global scale in a changing climate. shalenys.bedoya@csic.es
