This description on the Grímsvötn eruption comes from Dr Olgeir Sigmarsson, an Icelandic volcanologist who is Director of Research, CNRS at the Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans, Observatoire de Physique du Globe de Clermont-Ferrand.
