Munira Raji

Dr. Munira Raji is a British-Nigerian sustainable geoscientist and science diplomacy research fellow at the University of Plymouth. She focuses on sustainable geoscience, geoscience policy and diplomacy, and developing Global South partnerships to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As a co-founder of the Black in Geoscience network, Munira champions equitable access, inclusion and diversity in geoscience. She actively participates in various committees, including a member of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) 's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, the Geological Society of London Energy Group, the Universities Geoscience UK Committee and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Group of Experts for Just Energy Transition.
