Bianca Drepper is a geographer with a passion for the intersection of climate science and agriculture. After studying geography in Brussels and Leuven, Belgium, Bianca pursued a PhD on frost risks in the Belgian pear sector; where she modelled the impacts of a warmer climate on local fruit production. After some time as a sectorial advisor at the Flemish agricultural ministry she is now working as a business analyst specializing in geo data. There she applies her expertise to transform spatial information into actionable insights. With a broad background bridging academia, governmental administration and applied data analysis, Bianca remains curious about how environmental data and research can best support decision-making in a changing climate.
