Avijit Majhi

Avijit is a PhD student at the University of Cagliari, Italy, specializing in Civil and Architectural Engineering, focusing on precipitation ensemble nowcasting using optical flow and deep learning techniques. He holds an M.Tech. in Land and Water Resources Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, completed his master’s thesis at Technische Universität Dresden under a DAAD fellowship, and his research interests include surface water hydrology, hydrological extremes, and stochastic hydrology.
