I am a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Reading, with a slightly unconventional academic path. I hold a BSc and MSc in Electronic Engineering, and a PhD in Physical Geography. Over the years, my research has spanned a range of fields, including Earth Observation, Remote Sensing, Meteorology, and Hydrology. My work combines the design of custom-built scientific instruments, data collection, data analysis, and modelling, all aimed at better understanding natural processes. At its core, my research contributes to advancing geoscience by integrating engineering principles with environmental observation and analysis.
